Arrive at the meeting point in Kyoto’s Good Nature Hotel, at least 10 minutes before departure, where your guide will be waiting for you.
A short walk through Kyoto’s evening streets brings you to Gion Corner, a cultural theatre showcasing traditional Japanese performing arts.
Enjoy a rare opportunity to witness Kyoto’s classical art forms, including tea ceremony, flower arrangement, koto music, bugaku (court dance and music), kyogen (traditional comic theater), bunraku (puppet theatre), or a noh play, in a seasonal rotation.
Experience the atmospheric charm of Kyoto’s historic streets, illuminated by soft lantern light. Walk through Hanamikoji-dori and Gion Shimbashi, home to Kyoto’s preserved teahouses and traditional architecture.
Enter the serene courtyard of Gion Yoshi-Ima, a historic ryokan, for an intimate tea ceremony by candlelight at the Kurenaitei tearoom.
Afterwards, savour a Zen-style vegetable-based dinner, a balanced and flavourful meal rooted in Japanese tradition. On request, a fully vegetarian meal can be served.
