Suggested itinerary

9:30

Meet your guide at Waratenjin-mae Bus Stop (Kyoto City Bus) and head to the cycle parking (2 min walk from the bus stop).

Admire the golden allure of Kinkakuji, a Zen temple reflecting in a serene pond—a masterpiece since 1397.

Find tranquillity at Ryoanji, home to a Zen rock garden considered one of Kyoto's finest.

Explore the scenic gateway to Sagano-Arashiyama, with cherry trees adorning the picturesque Hirosawa Pond.

Wander through the enchanting Arashiyama Bamboo Forest, a photogenic spot capturing Kyoto's natural beauty.

Cross the 'moon crossing' Togetsukyo Bridge, a 155-meter span over the Katsura River.
