Erika Hatamoto - Japanspecialist
About me
I have been working at JTB/Japanspecialist for seven years, and am deeply connected to Japan through my family roots.
When someone asks me what I like about Japan, it's always a challenge because I love so many things, I can't choose just one.
One of my first memories from childhood is a visit to Miyajima island. I remember the region’s deers which love to eat everything, snacks, crackers, and tourists' maps!
Recently, on my last trip to Japan, in autumn, I visited Yamadera (in Tohoku prefecture), one of the most beautiful places I've seen. I'll never forget the colour of the trees, the charm of its small village and the calm and mystical atmosphere.
But, Japan is unique, extraordinary and unparalleled. Sharing experiences, knowledge and culture of a country as rich as Japan is a pleasure.
There's no greater satisfaction than the joy and happiness with which our clients return, having created memories that will last a lifetime. Being part of our client's work is, without any doubt, the most beautiful thing about my work.
