About me
Being half-French, half-Japanese, but born and raised in France, I’ve always been drawn to Japanese culture. Even though it should have been a part of me, I always felt I did not know enough about it.
That is why I decided to major in Japanese Culture and Language – I wanted to learn more about the Japanese language, history and culture. After I graduated from INALCO (National Institute of Oriental Languages and Civilizations) in Paris, I got a bachelor’s degree in 2D animation, pursuing a passion which ignited in me as I watched anime and read manga through the years.
I have been lucky enough to travel to Japan on several occasions, each time deepening my knowledge of Japanese customs… and adding more good addresses to my books!
In July 2018, I celebrated the Odaiba Lantern Festival in Tokyo. Watching the sun set while marvelling at the bright lights of the city, surrounded by thousands of paper lanterns, is a sight I will never forget.
I would love to share my passion for Japan with you and show you the multiple aspects of this fascinating country.
