About me
My first encounter with Japanese culture came through karate, which I have been practicing since the age of 13. That was the first time I realized that I wanted to visit the birthplace of this martial art, Okinawa.
My dream came true, and even more: in 2022, I spent a year at Osaka University as part of a study program. During this time, I did not only gain insight into Japanese higher education and the world of work but also acquired lifelong experience in travel planning.
Thanks to this, I was able not only to visit many of the country’s most popular tourist destinations, but also to enjoy unique experiences such as climbing Mount Fuji, driving around the Tohoku region, and completing a part of the Shikoku Henro pilgrimage. My current dream is to one day complete the entire 1,200 km route.
As a member of the Japanspecialist team, I look forward to helping you plan the trip of your dreams! In addition to full-scale organization, my goal is to share with you my knowledge about Japan so that you can immerse yourself even more deeply in this wonderful culture—ancient yet constantly renewing itself. If, besides the classic cities, you would also like to discover Japan’s lesser-known, authentic countryside, feel free to reach out for a consultation!
