About me
Japan has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. My parents lived in Tokyo before I was born, so I grew up in a home filled with Japanese memories. As a child, I first fell in love with the country through manga and anime; later, thanks to my degree in Oriental Languages and Cultures, I deepened my knowledge of its language, history, customs and culture.
I visited Japan for the first time when I was 12, and I still remember the wonder of seeing, in real life, the world I had discovered through cartoons. Since then, I have never stopped going back. I have lived in Tokyo, a city I consider home and know deeply, and I have spent more than fifteen years in Asia. Today, I cannot stay away from Japan for more than six months.
Leading groups in Japan allows me to share what I love most: that feeling of wonder. I enjoy seeing the amazement in travellers’ eyes when they discover a place, a flavour, a custom or an unexpected detail. For me, even the simplest things can reveal something about this unique country.
