Coming from a Hungarian–Japanese family, Japan is more than just a travel destination to me. It is a place I have a personal connection to and a culture I feel at home in. I grew up speaking both languages, understand both Hungarian and Japanese ways of thinking from the inside, and have always been particularly interested in bringing these two very different cultures closer together. For me, that is what tour guiding is all about: not just showing visitors a country's sights, but helping them understand the stories, customs and subtle cultural nuances behind them.

I have been guiding Hungarian groups across Asia for nearly twenty years and have worked on Japanspecialist group tours since 2010. As a tour guide, it is important to me that travellers feel safe, well-informed and involved throughout their journey. When travelling in a distant country, it makes a real difference to have someone by your side who knows exactly what to look out for. I treat every group and person as unique, paying attention to travellers' interests, questions and pace, and adapting my stories, explanations, and small practical tips accordingly.

Those who travel with me in Japan can expect more than just a well-organised and carefully guided tour. I aim to provide a personal, engaging experience that also gives them peace of mind. I particularly enjoy showing travellers the different sides of Japan, where tradition, everyday life, nature and the pace of modern cities exist side by side. My goal is for travellers to not only see Japan, but to feel closer to it: to explore it with greater confidence, gain a better understanding of its culture, and return home with personal experiences and memories that stay with them for years to come.
