About me

My name is Adele, and I have dedicated much of my life to studying Japan, its language and its culture. Professionally too, I have been fortunate to work in fields closely connected to this country, including 15 years at the Embassy of Japan in Rome.

After that experience, I chose to become a tour leader, following my true nature: travelling, meeting people, embracing new challenges and sharing with others the same passion I feel for Japan.

In recent years, I have accompanied several groups through the country, and every journey, even when following similar itineraries, still manages to surprise and move me.

One of the things I am most proud of is my knowledge of the Japanese language. I obtained the highest level of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test, the maximum level for non-native speakers, and speaking Japanese makes me feel deeply at ease.

As a tour leader, my aim is to create a genuine connection with the group, listen to each traveller’s needs and help everyone enjoy the journey with peace of mind.

I love sharing Japan’s history, art and traditions, but above all I hope to reveal a different way of living, observing and feeling the world.

What I love about Japan

  • Okinawa
  • Japanese cuisine
  • Civic sense
  • Shinto shrines
  • Tea culture
  • Japanese language

What my customers are saying

Much of the credit for this goes to Adele, who proved to be not only an excellent tour leader, but a true travel companion.

Domenico
Tivoli

Adele was the added value of the tour. Thanks to her excellent Japanese, she guided the group perfectly, even in places where English is barely spoken.

Chiara and Simone
Pistoia

Adele played a key role in creating harmony and warmth within the group from the very first day, despite the age differences.
