About me
My fascination with Japan began at a young age. Growing up in a Chinese family, I was surrounded by Asian culture from early on, which naturally sparked my curiosity about other cultures in the region – Japan in particular! Over time, that curiosity grew into a genuine passion. I often joke that Japan has always been my number one hobby.
Because of this interest, choosing to study Japanese Studies at KU Leuven in Belgium felt like a natural step. During my studies, I had the opportunity to explore Japan’s culture, history, and society in greater depth, which only strengthened my fascination with the country.
Today, I love being able to turn that passion into something practical. Japan can feel like a complex destination to plan at first, which is exactly why I enjoy helping people navigate it. It gives me great satisfaction to guide travellers through this beautiful country and help create experiences that leave the same lasting impression on them that Japan left on me.
One of the things I personally enjoy most about Japan is its incredible food culture. Many of my favourite memories from travelling in Japan revolve around food or the people I met along the way. To me, those are the ingredients that make travelling through Japan such a memorable experience.
