Japan has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. It started with video games, anime and manga - the world that grabs you as a kid and never really lets you go. As I grew up, it became something deeper: the language, the culture, the desire to truly understand a country unlike any other. I'm currently learning Japanese, because for me, travelling means trying to speak to people in their own language.

I've been lucky enough to visit Japan several times. Tokyo for the energy and the buzz, Kyoto for the beauty and calm - but it's Osaka that truly stole my heart. There's something free-spirited, spontaneous and wonderfully food-obsessed about Osaka that makes it a culture of its own. And that constant contrast between a pulsing city and lush, peaceful nature just around the corner is something I never get tired of discovering.

I speak four languages - French, English, Spanish and Italian - because languages are my way of connecting with people. And that's exactly what I try to do with every traveller I work with: genuinely listen, truly connect, and build a trip that feels like you.
